​The Queer Trans Hysto Zine encompasses stories from trans and queer people across and outside the U.S. as they reflect on the medical system and barriers to good care, the joy and heartbreak of community aid, surgical autonomy, sex and desire, and ambiguous loss.

I co-edited the zine with Adrian Matias Bell. The zine was borne from a desire for nuanced hysterectomy media by and for queer and trans people.

​Contributions include a how-to guide on navigating early menopause, a manifesto on surgery as a tool for self-creation, diary entries and recovery ephemera, decades-long reflections on transition, and more.

I really loved working on the zine with Adrian! We designed the project in Affinity and printed it via Mixam.
